There’s hope for the future…(I’m not talking politics)

A few months ago, I started InterBlog to marginal success. I use the term marginal loosely. Anyway, one of the first comments I got was from a young man I didn’t know. I was so interested in how he’d found my blog. I was also quite impressed with his humor.

Underaged Thinker

Underaged Thinker

After staying up on this young man (he’s only 18 ladies, simmer down!) and his blog, I became even more impressed and KNEW he had to be a part of InterBlog at some point. With enthusiasm and great speed, he took me up on my offer (no, not that type).

I present, the Underaged Thinker. I know we usually lament for the future, but maybe there’s still hope (if you don’t believe me, check out the second part of his answer to number 12)

1. Name (Blog or Government or Both): jon.C, jrob, Jonathan Alexander Robinson, “hey you!”

2. Blog Address and DOB: underagedthinking.wordpress.com and 01-04-90 –>after a more specific question, Jon responded with this: uh first born on 28 NOV 2008 to the Blogspot fam, named “Bullet-proof”, later adopted on 17 May 2008 by the WordPress fam, changing name to “Under-aged Thinking” hahahaha.

3. What’s the main focus/goal of your blog? How did you come up with the title?: i like to focus on the things that stir me the most. music. politics. movies. the arts. and i occasionally like to vent. haha. the name came about around the time i was very pissed about the age limit on clubs and other hot spots… i was reflecting on the idea that when u are 18, ur only old enuff to have all the responsibilities of adulthood and not many of the perks that keep adults sane haha. plus i thought it was catchy haha.

4. What would people be surprised to find out about you and/or your blog?: i’m the stepson of a preacher… and my grandfather was the first black dean of a university in Costa Rica.

7. What are the first three blogs and/or websites you hit everyday?: 2dopeboyz, herfection, and the Hundreds blog haha.

8. Q-Tip or Mos Def? Ashanti or Beyonce? Young Jeezy or Young Joc? Mos Def, Beyonce, and Jeezy…

9. Three Proust Questionnaire-Style Questions: hhhhhm. 1. Fave Hero: Batman [the darker, less kid-friendly version seen in recent DC comics] 2. best quality a women can have: self-respect 3. biggest fear: being a pawn in someone else’s agenda.

(i slipped up and gave him six. eh. that’s life, right?)

a. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: loneliness…

b. What is your dream of happiness?: a beach house in Costa Rica, where i live with my girlfriend [im never getting married], 3 kids, and work on my comic and clothing label from home.

c. What military event do you most admire?: the Battle of Thermopylae [aka 300 spartans...]

10. How do you motivate yourself to blog, even when you’re not in the mood?: i dont haha. i think that’s why im not a successful blogger. haha.

11. What is your favorite online video link and why? (I noticed that you post a lot of videos): hmmmm. HAS to be the Zeitgeist movie… hands down.

12. What was your first job? What do you hope will be your last job?: technically… graphic designer for Bling! Magazine. u heard of it? didnt think so. haha. last job… great father.

13. What is the last thing you have successfully stolen? art supplies from my old high skool haha.

14. What song is currently (or was most recently) playing in your atmosphere? Beautiful Remix – Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and MJB

15. Give me your six word memoir.: “he came, he spoke, we noticed” hopefully.

**Random answer to a question I didn’t ask: Wolverine… cuz Superman may be the ultimate hero… but Logan’s still “the best at what he does”. bub.

What on earth do you think he’s talking about?

Peace.
